EKOenergy – FINLAND

EKOenergy was a proud finalist of the EU Sustainable Energy Award Competition #EUSEW18. The organizers made this great video about our project “Green your Brewery with EKOenergy!”.

Truly European character of the team who implements this project – a team of students from many nationalities: 8 young ERASMUS + EVS (European Voluntary Service).

The focus of their work is to make consumer product industries greener by increasing the use of renewable energy sources.

They raise money for the corporate social responsibility “Climate Fund” which invests in renewable energy/ access to energy projects in developing countries.

The breweries have been certified so far and they are now planning to expand to other sectors and have started working with the chocolate industry and the hospitality sector.
