Cato is half Belgian, half Dutch. During COVID, she started an interesting project called “Weird Things In Brussels,” taking photos of peculiar stuff in the streets of Brussels in different neighborhoods. She sees Brussels as a real city where anything can happen, and people are easy-going.

Her Instagram page quickly became popular, and, as she said, she now has a whole army of followers who also take pictures of weird stuff around Brussels. She mentioned that it might be an extension of surrealism.
